Debarment from Government Contracting

Criminal, regulatory or civil dispositions can have severe collateral consequences for corporations that contract with federal or state agencies. Indeed, debarment from government contracting can even prohibit corporations from subcontracting with corporations that contract with the government. Accordingly, our representation of corporations in criminal, regulatory or civil proceedings also includes counseling them on potential threats to their future ability to conduct business.

Examples of our experience in these areas include:

  • Representation of a large, privately held corporation and its President and Owner in a debarment proceeding initiated by the General Services Administration.

  • Representation of a defense contractor in a debarment proceeding initiated by the Department of the Navy.

  • Representation of an environmental remediation corporation in a debarment proceeding initiated under New York State’s Vendex system.
